Bond Policy
A bond hire fee is charged to ensure that rented property or equipment is returned in its original condition. It acts as a security deposit against potential damage, loss, or excessive wear during the rental period. This fee encourages renters to handle the items responsibly and adhere to rental terms, facilitating a smooth process for both parties and ensuring the items are maintained for future use.
Bond amounts are charged according to the following rates:
Orders under $1,000.00 AUD incur a bond fee of $500.00 AUD | Orders $1,000.00 AUD and over incur a bond fee of $1,000.00 AUD.
Bond refunds are processed as follows:
Inspection upon Return.
Upon the return of the hired items as detailed in the invoice, the JL Productions & Hire Warehouse Manager will conduct a comprehensive inspection of all goods. An email notification will be sent to you promptly thereafter, confirming either: a) All hire goods were returned in satisfactory condition ("good order"). b) Some hire goods were not returned in satisfactory condition, or certain items are missing.
Liability for Loss, Theft, or Damage: In the event of loss, theft, or damage to any hired items during the rental period, the client is responsible for the full cost of replacement or repairs. This cost will be deducted from the Hire Bond refund.
Late Return Charges: Any delays in the return of hired goods beyond the agreed-upon timeframe will result in a charge of $250 per day, payable by the client.
Refund Process: Hire Bond funds eligible for refund will be processed within 7 days following the return of the items.
Legal Compliance: By entering into the hire agreement, the client acknowledges and agrees to adhere to these terms and conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the client and JL Productions & Hire PTY LTD.
Please review these terms carefully before proceeding with your hire agreement. If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding these terms, please contact us immediately. Failure to comply with these terms may result in legal action.
