Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may change, and sometimes plans need to be adjusted. Our cancellation policy keeps things sailing smoothly! It ensures that everyone gets a fair shot at hiring by discouraging last-minute changes that can leave gear sitting on the warehouse floor. By setting clear guidelines, we can balance fun and fairness, making sure our equipment is ready to roll when you're ready to go. Cheers to smooth sailing and seamless adventures!

Cancellation Notice

  • For cancellations made 14-days or more in advance of the event date, there will be no cancellation fee.

  • For cancellations made within 14-days of the event date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount will apply.

Refunds

  • Cancellations made within 14-days of the event date are subject to the cancellation fee mentioned above.

  • Refunds for cancellations made 14-days or more in advance will be processed promptly.

  • Refunds will be issued via EFT, once bank account details have been confirmed on the ‘Refund Form’ provided by the JL Productions & Hire team at the time of notice.

Rescheduling

  • We understand that unexpected situations may arise. If you need to reschedule your event, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss options.

No-Shows

  • If the client fails to notify us of a cancellation and does not show up for the scheduled event, the full booking amount will be charged.

Exceptions

  • In cases of extenuating circumstances (such as natural disasters, severe weather conditions etc.) we will work with the client to find a fair solution.
